My wife and I picked up a silver Aro last Sunday at one of the LFS, he/she was in a 75 gallon with 2 others.
Some scales were rough or missing. (photo below)
I noticed a small black spot on it 2 days ago, after work today the spot appears much larger.
Anyone have any advice or opinions? I haven't been able to find anything else similar to reference.
Aro is approx. 11'' and housed in a 72x18x30, with a 10'' Tiger O, and 4, 4'' Red hook Silver dollars. Filtration - FX6 wt 100mg of Purigen.
Parameters are spot on, PH is approx. 7. No real décor except for 2, 4'' clay pots covered in java moss.
Our O is pretty chummy with the Aro, I haven't noticed any aggression towards it.
Our hospital tank is being used to quarantine/treat a 3'' Indo Tiger we picked up last night from another LFS.
Indo also has cloud eye, so there's no way I can move it to our other 6ft tank.
Any help or insight will be greatly appreciated.
