Have some beautiful looking pieces of wood that i plan to use. Only problem being, They are still bleeding (discharging colour) even after having been in water for about a month. Have been changing the water almost every alternate day. Somebody help. :wall:

Bigger pieces take longer. I cant really say much other than keep soaking it I guess. Or you could just add it to the tank and the carbon helps remove some of the color.

Lots of wood you may never be able to get all the tannins out. You might just have to deal with yellow water.

It'll take years for woods to stop leaching tannins. You have to get used to it unfortunately.
