Looking good F1. Was it tough to get him on NLS? My fella is still on bloodworms in the morning and a prawn then in the evening.
thanks. And nope. From the day I brought him home I threw in .5mm sinking NLS and he took it like a champ. Still offer talapia once a week plus there are breeding guppies, ghosties and bamboo shrimps in the tank which I'm sure he picks off.Looking good F1. Was it tough to get him on NLS? Yes and that is why buying young mystery P's is not only a gamble but fun! The 3mm are sinking, just don't offer food for a couple days then let a pellet hit the water, he will likely take it and either chomp it or spit it out but trust me if you get him on a good/balanced pellet and supplement protein you will see a noticeable difference in color and growth ime. Thanks F1, are the 3mm sinking?
Here's a pic of mine. Is it me or does it look a bit different to yours?
