Lil update. I spent about 6 hours refinishing the inside of the tank. Started with 1200 grit and ended with 12000 grit with a random orbital sander. Then hit it with novus 2. Looks brand new. Added my rock and sand. Think I may do a a reef. At least that's how I set up the rock. I may change the lay out. I made two seperate "U's" with a channel down the middel that runs to the back left. It will be a super slow reef build. I'll need add more rock to seed and build my optimal reef. Easy enough seeing that we have a ton at my shop we can't even get rid of @ $3 lb. it will be mine all for the low price of free! Great perks working for the largest aquarium maintenance company in the midwest. I'm in this whole project for about $4 worth of plumbing parts. Hell my only expense will be the led lighting. Not bad. I'll post up some pics in a few.

Pics are not the best nor do they show the depth, caves or ledges of the rock work.

Thanks. No sense of rushing. I Did a fishless cycle with food. Plus I took the bio balls out of a tank here at the shop. Now this should give me the drive to finish the rest of the basement. haha.
