I have a spare 20 long tank. The only filters I have to spare are a c-360 and Aqueon 55/75. Both are rated for 75 gallon tanks. Is there anyway to make a C-360 work on a 20 long or will it be a whirl pool? fish going in the tank is L200 and Honduran Redpoint. I know the pleco would be happy with the current I don't want my HRP being blown around.

You could fit it with a spray bar? That'll distribute the flow evenly. Or you could cram the filter with media, reduces flow and helps keep the tank clean, win win.

Put a sponge on the intake if your worried, but tbh it shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't have any small fish.
