Respectfully Yes.. Twice the size of the female in the photos attached .. additionally his anal dorsal are much longer and pointed can't really tell from the photo because I had a large tiger botia that was nipping his fins .. This kind of makes it look female in the pic .. He also has much more color and aggressiveness. I bought them as a wild caught group... Here are couple of pics of pics that show this more.... 1st three same male( with fin rays in tact) ... Second three the female .. her anal and dorsal fin are rounded. These two fish are certainly different sexes.
From spawning accounts I have read about the males are generally large with longer fin rays and more coloration. Maybe I am backwards on this but I do not think so.
