Just noticed one of my three silver dollars in my Cichlid community tank has a couple tiny round white spots above his mouth. They appear solid white and haven’t noticed anything on any other fish. Parameters are:

Temp: 77 F
Nitrates: 0
Nitrites: 0
PH: 8

Any idea what it is and how/if I can treat this?

Can be a bump from hitting the glass or some small lymphocytosis. Would watch and monitor for more spots or getting bigger. Can’t really tell in the pics. Keep water clean.

Other option is place in quarantine and monitor. In case it’s lymphocytosis it can spread to other fish.

My guess is irritated tissue based on the location. If they spread, or appear on a part of the body that doesn't have a tendency to scrape or bump, I would have more concern.

My guess will heal up with time. Do any other fish show anything similar. Could have been spooked and crashed into decor or glass.
