Can i keep floating plants?

If you have floating plants with direct overhead lighting, they can eventually block most of the light going into the tank which can be a problem if you have plants at the bottom.

Just something to keep in mind if you hadn't thought of it.

With that much light, most floating plants will eventually cover the entire surface of your tank. A lot of fish love this. There's also a lot who don't.

I just wanted to add I also love water sprite, it looks good, grows planted or floating, is a nitrate sponge, virtually no maintance other than thinning it out every so often and is a healthy addition to a tank. It also provides cover and is good food source both directly and indirectly for certain species.
