brittle stars can be pretty hardy, plus you can supplement feed them if you're worried about food. As for the bristle worm the odds of getting a dangerous bristle worm are pretty slim and you can tell the species pretty easily. Most people just freak out about them because of an old stigma

I have used the good old brisstle worm trap tube with good results. I only use it two nights a week because i like brisstles in my tank. Help keep my sand nice and clean, but dont want them to over populate.

Killing aipstaia is easy. Little bit of joes juice and a syringe, or concentrated lemon juice will do the trick. Be careful when doing the lemon juice though so you dont mess up the tank params.
