Well yesterday I spent 2 hours attempting to get fry out, didn't get a single one... Drained the water down to about 3" deep, tried an acrylic divider to keep them on one side, it wouldn't stay put... siphon didn't work, net didn't work... About to give up and just let them grow up back there until they can't turn around anymore then get them... Was too stressful on my other fish to be in water that shallow that long.

Yeah, but there was still room lighting... I've looked in there at night with a flashlight, and they're not moving much, but not bunched together either... gonna try to see if I can net some after dark...
Problem with netting them is that the 'clear' half of the tank (no plumbing, heater, etc.) Is the wall side, so looking in from the room side, I can't reach far enough to get to the clear half...
Ugh. Next time I do a 3D background, I'm doing things a bit different...
