Anyone have experiences with their chanchos, midas or other amphilophus successfully co-habitate with larger fancy plecos? What I mean by larger, I mean ones that cannot be swallowed whole by the amphs.

Any feedback would greatly appreciated :grinyes:

In a big tank sure. It might take some trial and error.

I have 8 amphs in a 8x2 300g. I was wanting to see if anyone had some first-hand experiences.

I have 1st hand experience. I had a group in a 180 with one and a 150 with a trimac plus pleco.

The group spread out aggression and let it be. I had to sort through a few devils until it worked. The trimac just constantly harassed it when it was in the open.

I had to look it up.

In the 180 was a scarlet I believe and the other was a royal. The one in the 180 was fiesty which probably helped it.
