This is a cool thread. I really love the look and anytime nitrates can be reduced it's a definite plus. I need to try this!

Okay, so I have a question:

I'm treating my fish for hex for the second time. The first time, I hadn't put any pothos in the tank yet. Now we all know how good these plants are at sucking up nitrates. Will they suck up anything else like say...medications in the water column? I'm nearing the end of treatment and I noticed the leaves are turning yellow and there's no improvement in my fish.

I'm definitely trying this on my next tank, just need to find a good place that supplies them where I am.

so this plant is only toxic if someone or pets eat it correct, it ok to touch without worrying ?

also how much light do they need, as if I put them in a HOB filter in my sump there is like no light down/back there
