Chlorimine removal and the continuious water change drip system???

Im trying to set up the automatic drip system to a 300 gallon full of asian arrows and stingray, My city (edmonton) uses chlorimines and a tiny bit of chlorine.....
This threw a bit of a curveball but i am sure some of you are dealing with this already so here it goes....
Will this type of filter work to remove the chlorimines and make the water safe?

I was told i had to do it in [FONT=&quot]2 stages, the first stage being a catalytic carbon stage and the second being a chlorplus10 block, does this sound right?

The firt filter you showed reduces chloramines and only eliminates them at slow flow rates.

Filter guys seems like the way to go

Now what types of filters are you using? 2 stage with both inline? or are you getting away with just 1 filter?
Also how long or how many gallons before you have to replace the filter? And are they re fillable?

They will last for about 5,000 gallons or so.

Pharaoh Did you end up with an ammonia spike at all? Seems it will remove everything but the ammonia and im unsure with my bio load so high it will cause any havok on my sump?

I'm sure there will be a bit of an ammonia spike, but if you already have a pretty bid bioload, then you shouldn't notice it at all. The level of ammonia that will come out will be nothing compared to a heavily stocked tank.

yeah the ammonia will be nothing. in fact, i tested the water coming out of the filter and it didnt even register any ammonia on my test kit.
