Hey guys. Quick question I’m currently interested in cichla fogo but I don’t find any particular information about their size in the Aquarium some say 2ft others say 20 inch. Maybe some of you guys is keeping them and could tell me some of your experience.
Thanks

When it comes to fogo, My personal thoughts on not to many people have kept them long enuff. but from what i have read and seen they max out from 20"-26". Feed krill 3x a week to help with their red coloration.

Not a whole lot of difference between 20”, 24”, and even 26”. If one is to have fish of that type, one should have multiples, and the few inch differences became rather insignificant. The girth is on the other hand is very impressive and grows much faster with each little inch of length.
