OK I have the list of incomplete DIY threads. Here's what qualifies for an incomplete DIY thread:

1. There must be pictures of the start of the build.
2. There have been no updates for months or there's no pictures of the filled completed tank.

Without the pictures clause I would have way too many builds that started and ended but there was no pictures for it. (I'm a firm believer in pics or it didn't happen)

I'll put these like so:

I decided to add this list because I believe there can still be something learned from these threads. For the rest of the thread as tanks are either completed, other posters suggest another thread for the list, I find more start to finish tanks or I find more DNFs I will add them to the list.

To keep it simple DNFs will be thread title with link while completed projects will be that plus how many gallons and a picture.

Thanks again for the compliments and I hope to find and add more threads to keep this thread up to date and with as much information possible.

When you build these tanks it looks like some only have 1 piece of glass, is this correct or is it a regular tank covered in wood?

Great thread and great idea to bulk them together. I think sticky status for sure.
Thanks I'm glad you appreciate my effort. It took a long time to sift through all of the searches to find all of these.

These are plywood tanks, usually three of the walls, the top and bottom are built from plywood while there is one piece of glass used as the viewing window.

I built mine with plywood, but with 2 viewing windows....I guess it's personal choice or depending on the location of the tank.
