Hey all I have a 125 gallon tank with a oscar, 5 small red terrors and a convict pair, they bred and the eggs hatched about 4 days ago I would say they're are 20 swimming around that I can see. Shall I take them out? Or just let the parents do their thing ? They defend it all the time but do you think others can eat the fry ?

Others will eat the fry if given the opportunity. Don't be surprised if one or two outsmart the other fish and survive. That's what happened to me. I put some fry in my big tank for feeders. Thought they got eaten. About a month later there's a young convict swimming around like he owns the tank lol. Raised him up to full adulthood. When he died he was 6". They're smart little suckers!

About 7 survived in my tank after removing the parents because I didn't want to deal with fry. I caught all but one to rehome he is the fastest fish. I swear he just disappears and reappears.
