Here is another species from the Antarctic 5cm long....

Just to add to Oddballs comments; remove any other crustaceans from the tank, like shrimp and crayfish, during treatment. Any Chitin inhibitor, such as dimilin will kill your crustaceans. Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate will also kill your crustaceans. Organophosphates are an insecticide used in agriculture and will also kill the crustaceans, particularly when they moult.

question about those nasty things: wouldnt copper work at killing them?? Crusty mentioned copper so im just thinking that it does kill any inverts, so why not these??

also, what about warmer water to increase the speed of their life cycle? and even formalin, because it too kills inverts??
