thanks for the tip but i was looking around and im only going to get one but a gold piranah or something very aggressive on its own so it cost less compared to 5 im looking at http://www.aquascapeonline.com/store/Scripts/default.asp
thing is i hear red belly piranahs are skiddish and i also want one i dont want alot of fish for the long haul and im wondering what tank would be good for a gold piranahpiranahseeker, If you are trying to keep the price down on the cost of the fish, just get the 5 RBP's. If you want just one fish for the 55 gallon then get a nice SERRA Piranha. If you go for a shoal then I would get the 5 p's and narrow it down to three after they get a little bigger. You can always sell/trade the others in at a LFS.
even an adult fish? like a 1 footer? The 55 will be fine for one fish.
sweet then il just get like a 60 or a 65 gallon tank thanks for the info from every body!no if it was a foot long a 55 would be too small. most serras top off at around 8-10 inches though.
