It can be done , of course the tank will be smaller , cutting out all the seams perfectly square is not easy (saw zal no way ), then you need a experienced acrylic tank assembly person , making it even more difficult a 750 is probably 1 1/4" , I'm going to attempt it on a smaller monster

ok, experienced acrylic builder here.
1. just get a laminate blade and cut it apart.
2. I would then take the pieces to a proper plastics dealer and they can cut the pieces perfectly square and true.
3. research how to properly weld it together.
4. buy the chemicals to make solvent.
5. build it up.
While you can certainly build a structurally sound tank the first time, just forget about having perfect looking seams. It is an art and not easily perfected.
