Dat Rubbing?

I seen my dats do that to few times I checked him out for ich or anything I couldn't see anything but first thing I did was WC then salt

If the fish has ich you will see them but most other parasites won't be noticed visually.A good deal of dats and other wild caught fish have parasites when they are brought in.

I found that my Indonesian Tigers used to do that a lot especially when they were fed market prawn. Right after a feed of prawn they'd constantly rub the driftwood for a few hours. None of my Thinbars, Silvers or NGT ever did it

For no reason whatsoever?...People say its normal because so many dats do it.Its not like they are cats rubbing against a tree.
Yes it's normal they do it for no reason

Nothing is wrong

I mentioned years ago I think it maybe foods with high salt content but can't prove it

But even my barbs rub after eating prawn and mussel
