Datnoid Aggression

Hi, what would be the least aggressive datnoid species? Also, what triggers this aggression?

I wouldn't say they are as aggressive as they are territorial. I would consider them more of a territorial fish. As far as least "mean" species if thats what your getting at I would say NTT. I once had 5 NTT all 7-8 inches with arowana and a few other fish no issues. My big 15 inch Indo does sometimes bully others but never for too long. Just keep them well fed and make sure the fish you keep them with are larger than the datnoid and there should be no issues.

Agreed,most thinbars I have had were pretty timid compared to my indos or other species.
