those rhizomes don't look bad at all they should take off like no ones business once you get them planted.

They do look good, but don't plant them, tie them! java fern needs its rhizomes above ground otherwise they rot.

Yea I'm pretty sure I just got lucky the last time I ordered it. It was almost a decade ago, and I got nearly 4x as much.

Next time try petsmart, I bought a snail free real plant from them only cost $9 and I can divide them out 4~6 individual....

True, I've done that in the past, but i feel all warm and fuzzy buying from a small grower/local shop. Keeps the hobby alive doncha know.
