My hungry girls are wanting their pellets with the remaining goldfish they haven’t eaten behind them.. apparently I am running a restaurant where you just order what you want when you want.

I never feed goldfish anymore,gotta be one of the most common causes of death in cichlids,it eventually kills them,and once in the late/obvious stages there's no recovery.
Agreed, fish look nice, but feeding goldfish is a bad practice unless you breed them yourself. Guaranteed to give your fish sickness or parasites at some point or another. Would not recommend it.
gold fish a cold water fish, even if self bread not good for Oscars. contributes to fatty liver decease. guppies and tropical feeders ok, but as a once in while treat, other than that stick to a quality pellet as main diet. not to mention full grown Oscar can not catch them. they beat them selves up trying.
Ones that you breed yourself, or that you know the breeder of. The problem with store bought feeders is they are mass-produced and not kept in good conditions, so they get diseases and parasites alot
