Very nice and voracious plant eater. I never had D. affinis, but did have sexfasciatus and lussuoso. Similar behavior. They will quickly eat anything green, and then anything of any other color followed by anything lacking color. But very nice fish! They also grow large (affinis less so) and are popular food fish in Africa.

Yes, the behaviour is very similar, but those grow up to twice the size of D. affinis. My male affinis is about 8 inches and they don't get any bigger.
