Very neat. Practice good forestry and plant a tree for each one you cut down.

Fun not to read the words in the first post and then respond in an impolite way, eh?

First off.. go and find an unwanted tree. Best to check it's not something rare or the last of the Amazon rain forest. This is a big old Monterey cypress growing on a friends farm. They were planted many years ago as shelter trees on local farms. Now they are overgrown, huge, falling over etc and need to be removed.

A while back my neighbor developed some of his land and when he put the road in my dad (who does a lot of wood working) had a bunch of the trees milled (all nice white oak). Now you've got me thinking...
