DIY stand...2x4 or 4x4?

I would go with 4x4 that's what I used for my 150 it was pretty heavy but worth it it would be better to have it heavy and strong rather then weak and light

Stock stands are too wobbly 2x4s ok for a 180 anything bigger go 4x4
I personally wouldn't build a stand like this. All the load is being carried by the screws not the 4x4s. My 250 is on a 2x4 stand but the weight applied to the horizontal boards is transferred down to the vertices directly the screws hold it together but the aren't there to carry the weight. Most tanks carry their weight around the outside rim so that is where the verticle support should be directly under.
