Hi Guys,

I had a Dovii in a community a few years ago but let him go when he was about 12" due to the tank being too small (125g at the time).

Since then I have upgraded to a 240 (84" x 30" footprint) and have had various bass and Rays.

Im thinking now of having Dovii again. Is a 240 big enough to hold a pair?

It is very tough to tell as they can be very aggressive.
It totally depends on the individual fish and its traits.
A 240 might be totally insufficient or perfectly Ok.
But how big are you planning to buy and introduce in a 240

Planning to buy maybe 4 juveniles and grow them out to try to get a pair

You can try by providing some good hiding places and hope your Dovii's are not crazily aggressive.
I currently have 4 in my 4 footer as a grow out phase and even with lot of hiding spaces , i can see cut fins in atleast 2.
