im getting a 3.5 inch ornate bichir and i already have a 5 inch endli. will the endli try to eat it or not. if i get the ornate should i watch it just in case because im on vacation.

Out of all my bichirs my Endlis have eaten way more tank mates than any other bichir...
There is no out ward signs you will just have a fat Endli one day if it does not work....

A).Honest answer is who knows if it will or not the siz difference is there.

A). You should watch any new fish introduced in the established territory of the resident fish
Before adding the ornate rearange the tank decor this should remove territorial boundries established by the resident fish

endlis are MONSTERS! i had a 6" del and got a 3" endli, and the freakin endli started eating clown loaches the the del couldnt handle swallowing. they eat like vacuums.
endlis are crazy. i bought a clown loach about 2 weeks ago and the same day the endli ate it.that was a waste of money
