You can train to pet a Midas. The others would need some harder trainning.

Midas for me. I must admit that part of the allure is that midas cichlids never quite look the same (and yes, the hybridizations in the hobby as well as the different type locals that are becoming more evident of course play a huge role in that factor).

It is always a matter of personal experience and preference in what type of fish someone prefers. Fell in love with them the first time I saw an adult specimen as a young kid, and it will forever be a fish that I love.

Umbee for shine and size though. But Midas are the sweeter pets + bully

ive not kept umb or hait and i love all three of the others equally... im gonna give the butti some love, they have attitude of a dovii and appetite of an oscar very cool!-)

White Midas and Umbee. Must have both if you can. Oh and a shiny GoLden male Festaee while youre at it ..
