If this is the case, you must be in the running for youngest rays ever to hit maturity. The youngest to reach maturity that I have personally heard of has been about 3 years old8 months ago my retic was maybe 3 inches in width and my marbles were maybe 5 inches.........now my retic is 6-7 inches and my marbles r 11-13 inches ive already first hand witnessed full on mating so it was def high time for an upgrade!

Are you sure thats not aggression from being in too small of a tank? The size of male's claspers are a good judge of maturity. It usually takes 3-5 years before rays mature.Both males do nothing but chase both females all day and like I said ive first hand witnessed the act......in the middle of the day at that
