unsure about mixing kits but I know most people will get a big drum or even just a 5g bucket for a smaller tank, as said before add a strong powerhead and heater and be ready to roll. some people will have saltwater ready to go at all times with a powerhead keeping it moving so they dont have to make it every time they need a WC
