Oh, and lose the term teacup. He is a reticulata, retic for short. Teacup is a deceiving term used to sell rays to people who cannot actually provide the proper footprint.
I'd love to see how your experiences go with this fish - I have never kept one, but they are very cool, and I can see myself trying one out at some point in the future.
I have never fed a ray blood worms before. I've only fed blackworms, chopped earth worms, shrimp smelt tilapia etc. I would try to get your ray to eat chopped earth worms. Cut them into 1" segments. he needs to eat alot or he will die shortly.
