fish tank head board project

so this idea came to me after i bought a fish tank coffee table and realized how much people go crazy not only over tanks but tanks that are unique. so i decided i would recess a 55 gallon tank into a head board. today was the first day of the project and made some pretty good head wayIMG_4004.jpgIMG_2512.jpgIMG_9959.jpg

Looks interesting! My wife would not go for this idea mind you but I can see this being great for those guys who's wives enjoy their monsters as much as they do. :)

Sweet! I wish I could talk the wife into that! I don't think I would have room for it though...

EDIT: Nice grouping on those targets... the left two, anyway...

Haha I was worried about the whole rock the bed to but with as wide as the stand is and the water weight I think it'll b ok

Since when does the wife get to tell the man what he can do with his hobby, man up!!! Show her who wears the pants.:ROFL:

Viewing the fish from bed is going to be a PITA as will water changes, but cool idea. I want to a tank in the dinner table, so when I'm eating fish, I can watch my fishy swim around.

Water changes won't be horrible I ran hosing throught the stand with the spout draining directly to the bag edge of the stand it has a connection for a drain hose and for filling I have a hose ran to a bulkhead with a cap in the top that I will drop a funnel in and pour
