force feeding... tig not eating

i have a tig that has been quite active for the past 3 or 4 days, and hasnt went down to eat anything in this period of time... normaly hed scarf down a worm or piece of tilapia....how long can he go before it becomes an issue?
and im not comfortable with force feeding but if it comes dowm=n to it i will, what wud be the best food to give at tht point... he is a lil over 4 inches

What are you water parameters? With some smaller cats I notice this when they're stressed from ammonia.

If those are fine, your fish should be O.K. If he gets hungry he will eat. Until then remove uneaten food off the bottom. Fish never starve if food is available.
