Forced intro?

Welcome to the forum.

Is that the way it is now? My very first post was giving someone advice in one of the sub-forums.

But we do get alot of spammers that don't post anything but their junk(non fish related) in the main forums.

Agreed. I'm glad that more measures are being taken to limit spam. But yeah, I can't recall if I ever even made an intro post here. Lol

Personally if I was a spammer I'd think it would be more efficient to just reply (which you can do without forced socializing) rather than starting my own thread. But I could be wrong, I've never tried.

I've actually seen it several times on here in the past year or so, where a spammer will go through each forum posting and reposting the same thread. It might very well be easier to make a spam post as a reply, but then they wouldn't get their headline posted a dozen times on the front page. Lol, they're just a nuisance.
