You should try chicken heart my turtle loves em they are not expensive and pack some punch
just make sure to remove the extra fat and rince before feeding. also fronzen grapes and berries make for a great desert

IMO Thats to much protein, hence more likely to have shell curl. FRT's are mainly vegetarians....
Actualy chicken flesh is better, it has less phosphorus and fibrous tissue wich the turt will have a hard time to digest, but anyways unless we are talking about a undernourished turtle its important not to use so high protein foods more then like once a mouth.wilkinson;3969028; said:
Humm . I guess i have been feeding my turtle the wrong food for a while now. I have been giving those chicken heart on a regular base . i do give her lots of fruits.
