I think silver's are more aggressive. ask your lfs what species of dat it is? How.much are they @what size?

I've never put salt in for any of my dats and that includes silvers. That being said, I've been thinking of doing a seasonal brackish tank to see what happens

I used to keep some ITs with with my Moray Eel (Gymnothorax Tile) and I did a light brackish tank for 2-3 months of the year. I never saw any negative effects on the Dats and I kept that setup going for almost 5 years.

People don't like the overall look of silvers. They are different looking in terms of head and body shape and they don't display that bold gold and black look.
