Thanks for all the input, would like to try it but really don't think it would work will have to just stick a log to the front of one of my cats and jus pretend I have a gar haha.

LOL iir LNGs are further north and may be something to look into and they get pretty big considering they're not one of the "big 3" I know lngs are native to here in wisconisn.. so like Richard already touched on.. depending what size your cats are ect they may work if you can source them... we def freeze over in the winter lol..

True Amy, but only FLG and Gator gar are available in Europe :(
I have a bit of a hard time believing that. I've seen a crocodile gar in the collection of a European fishkeeper in the past. As well as longnoses.

As well knowing the role that Germany plays for import and export of many animals I can't see it being a question of the not being available if you know who to ask.
