Just an update on my Geophagus and Buttikoferi aquarium.
750L, 1.8m tank to recap.
last month (beginning November) the Butti's paired up (got rid of the third one) and started digging themselves a breeding pit. As long as the Geos stay away from the pit, everyone seems to be getting on.
The largest Butti is 31cm now. nose to tip of tail for size reference purposes. I don't think I will be keeping them for to much longer. I have someone interested in taking them to breed. I am not so keen on having hundreds of fry.
