Getting my Pleco to eat

anyone feed thier pleco with NutrafinMAX sinking tablets?

my pleco does seem to like them...and it clouds the water
still states does not cloud water :swear:

algae pellets when uneaten basically dissolves and turns water quality bad. its easier to use veg, and take it out after a few hours, before it destroys water quality. i think its better for the plecs too imo.

ohh thx...
how long u normally put the cucumber in?

i usually put it overnight and sometimes they clog up my filter...
so now i dont feed cucumber...

but if i put it for few hrs, they dont eat it right away...thats y i put it overnight and the next dae, cucumber is gone with the skin left intact :grinyes:

If you use cucumber take the seeds out, that will fix the filter problem. I would use other veggies too. The more variety the better.

i slice the cucumber, and just put in a few slices, the plecs eat from the middle outwards. im sometimes left with a few little discs with holes in the middle the next morning. never had a problem water quality wise
