So i have one of each amd they are pretty small the sen is much beefier but i want to bulk these guys up so i could put them with a del and moke that are around 8 inches. Gonna try and get the 4 of them into a different tank together
How big are they? I wouldn't worry as much about length as much as thickness, but even then as long as they aren't paper thin they'd probably be fine with the others. I've never known or even heard of a moke being aggressive/ eating another poly. Dels I've heard of rare occasions, but most likely won't happen. To beef them up I'd power feed massivore and tilapia.
Sorry for not being clear guys. I never had to power feed a fish im never in a rush to grow them. So whats the deal with power feeding ? 2 or 3 times a day ?
The sen is real chunky the gold is skinny as hell but eating flounder everyday. Still has no clue what to do with pellets/massivore.
My new polys were pretty skinny and I have just been offering food more frequently. Another thing I do is cut the tilapia up in easy to eat size where they don't have to tear it up. seems like they eat a bit more that way. I soak the fish in boyds too. I break up the massivore or sinking carnivore into more bite sized pieces.
Just feed them as much as they will eat, multiple times a day. Keep up with water changes since you are pumping the tank full of raw fish and massivore.
My WC lap got thick within a couple of weeks on tilapia and occasional massivore. I fed tilapia two days, fast, massivore one day, fast, then repeat. But yours are UJs so it may take a little longer. My del is VERY thick and he had no girth when i got him. Shes in the back, shes about the same thickness as my LJs. And doesnt eat as often that i see.
