Got a giant snail problem

can anyone tell me how to get rid of these things theres litterly thousands of them crawling everywhere

Clown Loaches.......... All these be gone in few days..

ive got two like 4 inch clown loaches id like too buy more but i cant find any big enough that wont get eaten by my big predator fish

i mean i could probably catch a 100 of them i got a 180g tank and there everywhere

add some tppe of fish that will eat them , clchlids or something. Had lots of snails in my tank. I think there was lack of aeration and gravel was dirty...they were thriving in there. Added some wild caught crappie (for feeders) and also increase the aeration..... the snails were all gone in a few days??? gl

Why do people keep recommending fish to take care of snails? unless the OP actually likes the fish it seems the fish may end up wasting away?

Anyway, another method i've heard works is putting potato in the tank... supposedly they can't resist the stuff... also a good idea to put the potato into a net of some sort, so that in the morning you can lift the net with potato and snails out in one easy go...

Hopefully that will help you out at least a little, even if it means using up a few potatoes..
