Green algae scum

A little over two weeks... So it's a pretty fresh tank

I know most recommendations say it should cycle for two week but my lfs said since i used their sand/lr/water i was good to go at 48 hrs. And so far all water parameters have been a-ok

Dangerous here. I am glad it worked out for you, but would not recommend others to do the same. Main problem being the die off from transporting it and getting it into your tank in a timely fashion.

Oh yeah, I understand. I was ready to wait the two weeks but they said since I was using their stuff and as long as my wster paramrters were good, I could start adding fish. I got the cheap Damsel as a tester fish just in case... After a week I got the clown
