Haha seriously! Just cuz they're not native here, we can't have them. But we can keep beaded's, western Diamondbacks, red Diamondbacks, southern pacific, sidewinders, etc. anything that is found natively

The only reason I like gila's more is that they keep their bright colors whereas beaded's tend to fade as they grow.

Interesting,it amazes me that you can keep any kind of reptiles in that state....especially native reptiles let alone hots.

I wasnt aware of that.How does that affect the hobbyist being that so many are captive bred?

Didn't catch the price but the head was gigantic. Good looking reptile. Built like a tank. They have the shows every few months Rich. Check it out.

I'll have to keep an eye out or see if I can get a hold of their schedule.I don't have a lot of free weekends.
They're still legal to keep but bc of Florida it is a federal crime to iuhmport them or transport them over over state lines.
I think I do recall seeing that somewhere now that you mention it.
