If your heating the room how much power you think you wi'll need for the water to maintain a temp.or is the 1Kw heater just a safe guard in case of unusually (usual) cold spells

The heating is one of the great unknowns of this project.
My plan is to use a gas heater (gas is cheep here) to keep the room temp up and hopefully i insulated well enough to not have to keep the burner on 24/7. the pond heater is to keep the water temp stable and as a back up.
And i hope it is enough to keep it at a stable 26 Celsius (78 Fahrenheit)

Channa pleurophthalma is a snakehead species. I have 11 of them 😃

There are many extremely colorful species of snakehead. especially with the smaller types. But what i like about pleurophthalma is that they school in large packs and are extremely curious and very aggressive feeders.

Put the glas in today and finished up the decor. Just need 2 more weeks of patience to give the caulking time to cure. Then i can see if it al holds to gather and doesn't leek
