I currenly have 4 tanks.
1 - 220 gal in VA (see below)
1 - 10 gal in VA (for feeders)
1 - 150 gal in NY (small fish for now..1 3 inch ATF ..get bigger, start eating!!!)
1 - 72 gal in NY
I have a bunch of gansters in my 220 gal:
1 - 20 inch Dovii
1 - 14 inch oscar
1 - 11 inch dovii
1 - 13 inch jaguar (killed 2 - 5 inch Pirahnas)
1 - 11 inch jag
1 - 9 inch female jag
1 - 13 inch red devil
1 - 11 inch red devil
1 - 10 inch Green terror
1 - 8 inch compressor
1 - 6 inch red belly Pirahna
1 - 6 in Texas cichlid
1 - 9 in bloody parrot
about 5-6 other 4-6 inch fish survivin just fine for now.
recent deaths -- 1 - 12 - inch sabertooth (over fed on goldfish), 2 pirahnas, 1 - 12 inch dovii killed by 20 inch
This weekend I dumped in the 20 inch dovii (new to tank) and the oscar (previous king of the tank) made about 3 staged attacks over the first 60 minutes until the dovii engaged, locked jaws and the dovii got underneath and pile drove the oscar into the top knocking the lid half off! Now dominance has been stablished.
I am amazed at how fiesty the Bloddy parrot is...it fights anything. Also the compressor and small african's constantly nip at the pirahna who is completely in check solo without any other partners in crime.
