sorry about your loss :( i am also interested in what would be the smallest FW ray and the easiest to care for. this christmas im geting a 220 gallon with a large footprint, and was wondering if i can house a single ray permanently in it

I'm sorry to hear hun. :( Macy was doing that backflipping thing awhile back but then stopped and seemed to be fine for a week or more. Then she just up and passed away out of the blue. It's a hard thing to see it happening and be at the point where you don't know what else to do for them. :(

Don't be afraid to try again. For me, I'm waiting a bit because I'm still pretty upset over the whole thing. The 2 days before I left for vacation were spent constantly looking over at the tank expecting her to be swimming around but seeing nothing but blank water. It was depressing. Someday there'll be another. I wish you the best.
