Help!! Spiders in fish tank!!

Water Scorpions? well...that's not scary lol....and sorry for the crappy pics, my camera sucks with close up shots....




They have 6 legs, and i think like 4 eyes, plus antenna things and their legs have little black dots all over them...

LOL, water scorpions are not a threat unless you are a small minnow, could be a good food source though!

Your camera's too close. Get about two feet away, then crop it down and blow it up. But it's definitely something I've seen before. I don't remember what it is. Water scorpion as kevinfleming suggested seems close, but the front arms don't seem to quite fit the bill.

Google 'water insect' and browse a few pages.

It kindddaa looks like that, only these guys seem to have 4 eyes and no back antennas :S although their "rear ends" kinda have those swivels to them.....hmmm maybe they are baby ones? :S

either way they are predators to fish, well small fish. If your fish are big enough.....give them a snack. If they are little guys, get rid of the bugs.

yes i have these in my pond 100% harmless and the fish actually enjoy eating them the RTC's mostly am scared to touch them though when i go IN my pond(to clean( i dont want to know if they bite

just plop them in my tiger oscars mouth they'll do fine hear....lol
