Well my 13 year Herichthys sp turquoise passed away yesterday which leads me to my question. I haven’t seen any for sale for quite a while, does anyone have a source for a new batch of grow outs? This picture is a few years ago during a spawn.

I’m a Heinrichthys/nosferatu nut, and still have yet to find anyone who breeds/imports most of the genus. I really only see “Texas” cichlids, and the irregular tamasapos, other than that, haven’t seen much, and trust me, I’ve been looking

Yes sir, I’ve seen the same which prompted me to ask if anyone has seen any recently. I’m the northwest suburbs of Chicago and the gentleman(GCCA member)who I originally got 10 from years ago hasn’t touched them for years.

I’ll keep my eye out for you, we don’t have many sa/ca/na cichlid keepers here In Arkansas, but once in a while gems will pop up. Likewise let me know if you find any Media Luna Yellow labridens!

Thank you. That’s another one I haven’t seen in a minute too. I feel like the last one who carried those was Rapps years and years ago.

I was one of those Herichthy/Nosferatu nuts myself, when living in Milwaukee
And was able to access many thru the gcca

There was a breeder who showed up at most gcca events called Pleco Pete Durkin with many
