Honduran jaguar group - parachromis managuensis

Thank you, he's come a long way, I got him at about 3.5" in late may/early june, and he has since doubled in size. Seems slow, but I'd consider it healthier than an inch or two a month and dying of obesity at the age of 7.
It’s been a while, so time for an update. Finally had my two largest fish pair off and spawn last night! They’re still fairly small, I wouldn’t think the male is over 5” but he might be in that range, 4.5” to 5”. But, colors on them are fantastic and I’m glad to finally be able to dedicate the tank to just the pair and my pleco group. I‘ll be posting the 6 remaining growouts in the For Sale section fairly soon.
There are at least 2 other males that look almost identical to the lucky guy, very close in size and color. I’m not sure how I’ve made it this long without any real damage in the group and I’m hoping to get these guys out of here before it starts.

Nevermind. He actually decided to order some himself from Cota because of this post! They truly are striking as mentioned on their stocklist.
He’ll be happy with them! They’ve taken a bit to grow to this size, but now that they’re a little bigger it does feel like they’re growing quicker.
I do need to get the others posted for sale in the Marketplace. I’m worried my run of good luck will eventually run out if I have 2 breeding pairs at the same time.

Another long gap between updates, sorry! I ended up selling off the remainder of the group to avoid any casualties, and kept the pair I felt interacted with me the most. There was another pair in the group that looked every bit as nice, so hopefully the buyer comes back to post here about them from time to time.
Here are some cell phone pics of the pair, I'll try to break out the DSLR at some point for better shots down the road. Male here is around 9" or so, female is about 6.5". Not the fastest growing cichlids I've owned over the years, but still not as slow as my festae pair.
